Advantage Forwarding Ltd was established in 2018 in a small office premises in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan. From the beginning, our focus was clear: deliver flexible, reliable transport and logistics solutions for our customers. As demand grew, we invested in our own equipment - starting with two mega trailers to support weekly import and export services to and from Europe.

This early investment proved successful and soon led to the purchase of six additional mega trailers. As our operations expanded, we relocated to our current premises in Dundalk, Co. Louth, giving us the space and infrastructure to grow further.

Today our team has expanded to 26 employees, supported by a panel of dedicated subcontracted drivers. Our services now include Ireland/UK/Europe import and export, customs clearance, warehousing, oversized loads, project planning and dedicated express deliveries throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe. Our diverse fleet includes mega trailers, euroliners, box trailers, rigid trucks, and 3.5t box vans - all fully tracked to provide real-time location information for our customers.

We also built strong in-house customs expertise, offering full import and export clearance in both Ireland and the UK. With our own transit guarantee in place, we provide seamless transit solutions across the UK and into European markets.

In 2024, Advantage Forwarding strengthened its position even further by merging with Westdijk B. V. and joining The Pultrum Group. As a part of this larger group we now benefit from the combined strength of over 400 employees, 180 trucks, 420 trailers and more than 15,000 m² of covered, secured storage across Europe. This partnership enables us to deliver even greater capacity, capability, and reach for our clients.
