Advantage Forwarding Ltd was established in 2018 in a small office premises in Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan. Very quickly we realised that to meet our customers requirements, we would need to build up some of our own equipment and so we bought 2 mega trailers to service our client’s needs, and operated weekly import and export services to and from Europe.

 

This proved to be a good business decision and led to the purchase of 6 further mega trailers. This in turn led to us having to expand the business and the decision was made to move to Dundalk, Co Louth to our current premises.

 

Since then, we have expanded our staff to 12 employees and a panel of dedicated subcontracted drivers. Our services now include Ireland/UK/Europe import and exports, customs clearance, warehousing, oversized loads and dedicated express deliveries around Ireland, the UK and Europe. Our fleet now includes mega trailers, euroliners, box trailers, rigid trucks and 3.5t boxvans. All our fleet are tracked allowing us to provide real time location information for our customers.

We have developed our own in-house customs clearance capability and can offer full import and export clearance in both Ireland and the UK. We also have our own transit guarantee in place and can offer transit solutions across the UK to the European markets.
